Variety characteristics:

- 847 Turk's Potato Leaf Tomato is a fixed variety of Russian origin, reported as a spontaneous potato-leaf mutation of "Turk's Musts" noticed by Belgian collector Luc Fichot in 1997. Plants are indeterminate with moderate development and potato leaves, producing heavily from mid-season until frost. Fruits weigh about 5.3-10.6 oz and are flattened at the top with pronounced ribbing, usually setting 3-6 fruits per cluster. The skin is red with darker striping and green coloring toward the top. Inside, the flesh is dark and juicy, with green gel and pale yellow seeds. Flavor is sweet with a distinctive musky note, making this a memorable specialty slicing tomato for collectors and dark tomato enthusiasts.
