White Honesty Seeds | Lunaria annua var. albiflora Translucent Silver Seed Pod Plant

Overview

White Honesty is an elegant biennial, born for the darker corners of the garden. From early spring to early summer, it produces light, airy sprays of pure white blooms—fresh and understated, often flowering before many other plants have even stirred. But the real surprise comes after the flowers fade: the plant produces translucent, round silvery-white seed pods, as delicate as gossamer, shaped like tiny silver fans or discs of frozen moonlight—ethereal and dreamlike.

Exceptionally cold-hardy and shade-tolerant, it thrives beneath trees, along north-facing borders, and in other low-light spots. Whether you're after the early spring flowers or the iconic silver dollar-like pods, White Honesty delivers an exceptionally long season of interest and endless delight.
