English Ribwort Plantain Seeds | Plantago lanceolata | Wild Meadow Edible Herbal Flower

Overview

English Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) is a cold-hardy herbaceous perennial. It holds an important place in traditional herbal medicine, and its young leaves can also be eaten as a wild vegetable. At the same time, it is increasingly favored by gardeners for its unique flower spike morphology and naturally rustic appearance. The lance-shaped leaves form a basal rosette with clearly prominent veins; slender, erect scapes rise from the leaf cluster, bearing spindle-shaped brownish flower heads at the top, which later extend into fine white thread-like stamens, light and elegant, offering great ornamental interest.
