🌿 About Oxalis Obtusa 'Almond Butter'

This is a warm, creamy-toned cultivar from the Oxalis obtusa (OB Series), also known as "OB Almond Butter"—a beloved autumn-planted oxalis with cozy, buttery charm.

✨ Variety Features
- Flower Color: Creamy apricot petals with a delicate pink ring at the base, framing a bright golden-yellow center. The overall hue evokes the soft warmth of melted almond butter, with fine radial veins catching sunlight to create a light, velvety sheen.
- Foliage: Typical trifoliate leaves, heart-shaped and delicate, forming the iconic "clover" look of oxalis plants.
- Growth Habit: An autumn-planted bulb that flowers from winter to early spring. It produces an abundance of blooms, easily achieving a "full bloom" effect, making it ideal for container gardening.
🌱 Basic Care Guide
- Planting Time: Best planted inautumn (September–October)when cool temperatures promote bulb sprouting.
- Soil: Must use a well-draining medium, such as a 1:1 mix of gritty soil and potting mix, to prevent bulb rot from waterlogging.
- Light: Thrives in full sun—aim for 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Insufficient light leads to leggy growth and fewer flowers.
- Watering: Follow the "water thoroughly when dry" rule. Water sparingly before sprouting, and keep the soil slightly moist during active growth. Avoid standing water in the pot.
- Dormancy: When leaves turn yellow and wither in late spring/early summer, stop watering. Once the soil is completely dry, bulbs can be dug up and stored for replanting in autumn.
