U2683 Dajitui is a mid-early Chinese kale variety selected for its extra-thick main stem, glossy deep-green color and elongated oval leaves. Plants develop relatively wide internode spacing and produce substantial, fleshy stems with a crisp, tender texture and pleasantly mild, sweet flavor. Growth is most favorable at approximately 50–77°F (10–25°C). Seeds may be direct-sown or started in trays for later transplanting. Harvest the main stem while it remains tender, then allow developing side shoots to continue growing for additional harvests.
